CURBSIDE RECYCLING

The City of El Paso Curbside Recycling Program offers residents an easy and convenient way to reduce waste and contribute to the preservation of our environment.

Recyclables are collected once a week, on your regular garbage collection day. Simply place your blue bin next to your gray bin (3 feet apart) on the day of your collection. The arrow on the top of the bins should point toward the street. You may wait until your recycling bin is half full before setting it out for collection.

If you have an unusually large accumulation of recyclables, please use one of our Citizen Collection Stations (CCS) located throughout the city. The stations are open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and are located at: 4501 Hondo Pass; 1034 Pendale; 2492 Harrison; 121 Atlantic; and 4200 Delta. There is no fee for this service.

Participation in the Curbside Recycling program is voluntary. If you do not recycle properly, you risk having the Environmental Services
Department repossess your blue bin and end your household’s participation in the program. Items placed in the blue containers must be recyclables and should not be mixed with non-recyclable household waste.

For more information, please e-mail recycle@elpasotexas.gov or call the Environmental Services Department at (915) 621-6700.
